La investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo y con diseño descriptivo. La población y muestra estuvieron conformadas por 60 niños del Ciclo II. Para la recolección de datos se empleó la técnica de la observación y como instrumento la ficha de observación. El estudio concluye que el nivel de autorregulación emocional en los niños del II Ciclo del distrito de Chalcos evidencia un desarrollo predominantemente positivo, ya que el 50.0% se ubica en el nivel de “Logro Alto”. Sin embargo, el 33.3% presenta dificultades en esta capacidad, situándose en el nivel de “Logro Bajo”, mientras que el 16.7% alcanza un nivel intermedio. Estos resultados indican que, si bien la mayoría de los niños muestra un adecuado manejo emocional, es necesario fortalecer estrategias pedagógicas orientadas a aquellos que aún presentan dificultades, con la finalidad de promover un desarrollo socioemocional integral y equilibrado.The primary objective of this research study was to determine the level of development of nonverbal communication skills among children in the second cycle of early childhood education in the district of Huambalpa, province of Vilcas Huamán – Ayacucho, during the year 2025. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach at the descriptive level and employed a descriptive design. The population and sample consisted of 60 children in Cycle II. Data were collected using the observation technique, with an observation form as the instrument. The study concludes that the level of emotional self-regulation among children in Cycle II in the district of Chalcos shows predominantly positive development, as 50.0% are at the “High Achievement” level. However, 33.3% exhibit difficulties in this area, falling into the “Low Achievement” level, while 16.7% reach an intermediate level.
