The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of using colored clay on the development of pre-numerical concepts—in the Quechua language—among 5-year-old children at Early Childhood Educational Institution No. 429-25 "San Juan de Miraflores" in Huanta (2024). The study employed a quantitative approach, an applied research type, and an explanatory level, utilizing a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test assessments administered to a single study group. The census sample consisted of 18 five-year-old children. Data collection relied on the observation technique using an observation checklist; this instrument achieved 94% content validity via expert judgment and high reliability (0.801) according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Findings presented in the tables demonstrate a transformation: regarding the general variable, the sample shifted from 100% being at the "beginning" and "process" levels to 100% reaching the "expected achievement" (66.7%) and "outstanding achievement" (33.3%) levels following the intervention. In the comparison and classification dimension, 94.5% reached satisfactory levels; in the relations and correspondences dimension, 100% achieved results distributed evenly between "expected" and "outstanding" levels. Inferential results, processed using the Wilcoxon test, yielded a significance level of p=0.001 (<0.05) for the general hypothesis and all specific hypotheses, thereby allowing for the rejection of the null hypotheses. It is concluded that the use of colored clay significantly influences the development of pre-numerical concepts.Kay musuq llamkaypa hatun munayninqa karqa, pichqa watayuq wawakunapi llimpiyuq mituwan ñawpaq yupay yuyaykuna wiñachiyta qawariymi, Huanta llaqtapi "San Juan de Miraflores" yachay wasipi Nº 429-25 "San Juan de Miraflores" Huanta llaqtapi.
