El presente estudio, titulado “Conocimiento de la educación sexual en estudiantes de educación primaria de la Institución Educativa ‘María Auxiliadora’ de Huanta, 2025”, tuvo como objetivo describir el conocimiento sobre educación sexual en los estudiantes del sexto grado “A”, considerando las dimensiones biológica, social y psicológica. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental y nivel descriptivo simple. La muestra estuvo conformada por 28 estudiantes. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado de 22 ítems dicotómicos (Sí/No), organizados por dimensiones. Los datos fueron procesados mediante Excel y SPSS v.25, generándose frecuencias. Los resultados mostraron un mayor conocimiento biológico (75 % de respuestas afirmativas), seguida de la psicológica (67,85 %) y la social (64,28 %), evidenciándose vacíos en aspectos afectivos y de convivencia. A nivel general, el 72,43 % de los estudiantes afirmó tener conocimiento sobre la educación sexual. Se concluyó que el conocimiento sobre educación sexual en la muestra es predominante, con fortalezas en contenidos biológicos y debilidades en las dimensiones social y psicológica. Estos hallazgos revelan la necesidad de implementar una Educación Sexual que articule contenidos conceptuales, habilidades socioemocionales y valores, desde una propuesta pedagógica pertinente al contexto intercultural de la región.
The study, titled "Conocimiento de la educación sexual en estudiantes de educación primaria de la Institución Educativa ‘María Auxiliadora’ de Huanta, 2025," aimed to describe the knowledge about sexual education among sixth-grade "A" students, considering the biological, social, and psychological dimensions. A quantitative, basic approach was employed, with a non-experimental design and a simple descriptive level. The sample consisted of 28 students. For data collection, a structured questionnaire of 22 dichotomous (Yes/No) items, organized by dimensions, was applied. The data were processed using Excel and SPSS v.25, generating frequencies. The results showed greater biological knowledge (75% affirmative responses), followed by psychological (67.85%) and social (64.28%), evidencing gaps in affective and coexistence aspects. Overall, 72.43% of the students stated they had knowledge about sexual education. It was concluded that knowledge about sexual education in the sample was predominant, with strengths in biological content and weaknesses in the social and psychological dimensions. These findings revealed the need to implement Sexual Education that would articulate conceptual content, socio-emotional skills, and values, based on a pedagogical proposal relevant to the intercultural context of the region.
