The objective of this research was to determine the level of physical performance among fifth-grade primary school students at the “San Francisco de Asís” Educational Institution, Huanta, 2025. The study followed a quantitative approach and was classified as basic, descriptive, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 105 fifth-grade students, while the sample included 27 students from Section C. A structured observation guide was used as the data collection instrument, assessed on a five-level ordinal scale (low, fair, good, very good, and excellent) and organized into the dimensions of cardiorespiratory capacity, muscular strength and power, and coordination and agility. The results showed that 66.7% of the students had a fair level of physical performance, 25.9% had a low level, and only 7.4% had a good level. By dimensions, cardiorespiratory capacity showed the weakest performance, with 63.0% of students at the low level; coordination and agility also presented significant deficiencies, with 55.6% at the low level; while muscular strength and power was the most stable dimension, with 88.9% of students at the fair level. It is concluded that the physical performance of the evaluated students is at a medium-low level, highlighting the need to strengthen systematic physical activity within the school curriculum.
