El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de práctica del respeto en los niños de 5 años de la Institución Educativa “Madre Teresa de Calcuta” de Huanta, 2025. Metodológicamente, la investigación correspondió a un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, nivel descriptivo simple y con un diseño no experimental. La población censal estuvo conformada por 17 niños y niñas de 5 años, para la recolección de datos se empleó la técnica de observación directa, utilizando como instrumento una ficha de observación. Asimismo, los datos recolectados fueron organizados en tablas de frecuencias y gráficos estadísticos, y procesados con el software estadístico SPSS versión 25. En conclusión, se determinó que el nivel de práctica de respeto en los niños y niñas de 5 años de la Institución Educativa “Madre Teresa de Calcuta” de Huanta, 2025, predomino el nivel bajo, ya que el 70,6% de los evaluados presentó deficiencias relacionadas con el respeto hacia las personas adultas, hacia los demás, hacia sí mismos y en el cumplimiento de las normas. Estos hallazgos evidencian la importancia de fortalecer la formación de valores iniciándose desde el hogar y la escuela a través de diversas estrategias que permitan el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes.
This research aimed to determine the level of respect practiced by 5-year-old children at the "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" Educational Institution in Huanta, 2025. Methodologically, the research employed a quantitative approach, was basic in nature, descriptively simple, and used a non-experimental design. The census population consisted of 17 five-year-old boys and girls, selected using non-probability convenience sampling. Data was collected through direct observation, using an observation checklist as the instrument. The collected data were organized into frequency tables and statistical graphs and processed using SPSS version 25 statistical software. In conclusion, it was determined that the level of respect practiced by 5-year-old boys and girls at the "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" Educational Institution in Huanta, 2025, was predominantly low, as 70.6% of those evaluated showed deficiencies related to respect for adults, for others, for themselves, and in compliance with rules. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening values education, beginning at home and at school, through diverse strategies that promote the students' holistic development.
